Pompie is a compact 4-in-1 roadside backup designed for South African motorists, combining a 12V jump starter, portable tyre inflator, emergency light and USB power bank in one easy-to-store kit.

Keep Pompie in your boot for the everyday roadside problems that can leave you stranded — a flat or low tyre, a discharged battery, a dying phone or roadside darkness.

4-in-1 roadside backup

• 12V jump starter — intended primarily for motorcycles and small-capacity four-cylinder 12V engines, including situations where the vehicle battery is fully discharged.
• Portable tyre inflator — suitable for topping up vehicle, motorcycle and bicycle tyres, sports balls and compatible inflatables. The inflator has been tested to 4 bar without issue.
• Emergency light — built-in steady, slow-flash and fast-flash lighting modes.
• USB power bank — USB-A output for charging compatible phones and USB-powered devices.

Jump-start compatibility

Pompie’s jump-start function is intended primarily for motorcycles and small-capacity four-cylinder 12V engines. Larger engines may sometimes start where the vehicle battery still retains some charge, but this falls outside Pompie’s primary intended jump-start use and cannot be guaranteed. Starting performance can vary depending on engine size, battery condition, temperature and the vehicle’s electrical condition.

Pompie is not intended for 24V systems or large commercial vehicles.

Tyre inflation

Pompie displays the connected tyre’s current pressure and allows you to set a target pressure. Once started, the inflator automatically stops when the selected target is reached.

Always use the tyre pressure specified by your vehicle or tyre manufacturer. Pompie being tested to 4 bar does not mean 4 bar is the correct pressure for your vehicle.
